The fire at the Grainery in downtown Decatur was fully engulfed when Decatur firefighters arrived Saturday afternoon, Fire Chef Jeff Sheets said.
The First St. business was closed for the day when the fire department was dispatched at 3:36 p.m. The business normally closes at 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
No injuries were reported.

No cause of the fire has been determined, Sheets told WZBD.com. But the structure and its contents are considered a total loss.
The Decatur department is being assisted by the state fire marshal’s office in the investigation, which is ongoing, Sheet added.
He noted that it took local firefighters nearly an hour to get the fire under control and the department remained on the scene for investigation until 7:47 p.m.
Members of the Preble Volunteer Fire Department came to the fire scene to assist and members of the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department stood by at the Decatur station in the event any other calls came in.

Decatur police, the Adams County Sheriff’s Department, Adams County Dispatch, EMS and City of Decatur public works employees also assisted.
The department posted the following on its Facebook page: “ … a huge thank you to Pizza King of Decatur, Servpro of Ft. Wayne, and the citizens of Decatur for dropping off food and drinks for the personnel on scene. It was greatly appreciated.”
Also Sunday, the Grainery Company posted the following on its Facebook page; “Thank you all for your outreach of support. We greatly appreciate it. While we are picking up the pieces, we will not be able to process orders. We will keep updating on here and the website on further developments. Again thank you all for being awesome!”
