It was a busy weekend with the Adams Central Flying Jets winning the state title in football, but the team’s game at Lucas Oil also ushered in the official end of the fall sports season on WZBD.

The Heritage boys team got its season started Tuesday with a home loss to Garrett and followed it up with a tough road trip up to Whitko and came away with a 59-46 victory Saturday.
Heritage held the Wildcats to just 16 points in the first half to build a big lead and move to 1-1 on the year.

On the girls’ side of things, Adams Central lost its first ACAC contest of the year at home against Southern Wells, falling 56-39.
