South Adams swept the top two spots in each of the relays Tuesday at the Helen P. Brown Natatorium on the campus of South Side High School and won handily against the host Archers and visiting Marion.
Notes & Times:
-The medley relay team of Calah Hill, Delaney Schwartz, Stella McIntire and Addy Watson provided to be the right combination for coach Ayres, winning the event and cutting three seconds from the team’s best time at last week’s Invite at Norwell. They won in 2:23.67.
-Ava Kinsey turned in a massive performance to win the 200 Free, cutting 14 seconds from her season best and coming within a second of her best last year in the sectional prelims. She won in 2:11.72. Kinsey did the same thing in the 100 Free, falling within a second of her time in last year’s A Final and breaking the minute-mark.
-Calah Hill had a solid time to win the IM as the Stars swam without Julia Arnold Tuesday. Delaney Schwartz also turned in a season best to take second.
-GenaMarie Summersett continues to seem primed for a big year in the sprints. She won Tuesday with a 28.04.
-Hannah Scott swam a season best to win the backstroke.
