Tom Krueckeberg, Adams County Recorder, was elected Treasurer of the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC) Board of Directors. He began his term on November 1, 2024. Board elections were held during the AIC’s Annual Conference in September.
“I’m grateful to have been elected Treasurer for the Association of Indiana Counties Executive Board of Directors,” Tom Krueckeberg said “I look forward to contributing in any way I can to support the Association’s work and all 92 counties across Indiana.”
Tom Krueckeberg is on his first term as Adams County Recorder and was elected to his second term in November. Tom has served as the Indiana Recorders Association President and currently serves as their Past President. He has served on the County Council (four years), Treasurer (eight years), and Recorder. He has also worked for the Sheriff’s Department as a part time Jailer and bookkeeper.
The AIC Board of Directors sets policies and legislative goals for the Association.
The Association of Indiana Counties, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1957 for the betterment of county government. The various functions of the AIC include lobbying the Indiana General Assembly on behalf of counties, serving as liaison among counties, state and federal agencies
