The Heritage Patriots won their fourth game in a row and finished the regular season with a fine 8-1 record after beating Jay County at home Friday, 35-13.
The regular season ended with the loss to Adams Central sandwiched between four wins on either side of the Week 5 showdown, giving the team eight wins in the regular season for the second year in a row.
Eli Tigulis finished 15 of 20 on the night for 194 yards and two touchdowns.
Lucas Weber had the biggest game of this career, piling up 208 yards and three touchdowns.
Braden Walter had seven catches for 62 yards, while Zeke Litchfield caught six balls, two for scores, for 138 yards.
