The season came to an end Monday night for the Bellmont Braves at Zollner Stadium in a 4-0 loss to #2 Bishop Luers.
The two teams played back in August and the Braves were soundly defeated, 9-0, and Luers has lost just one game since that time, shooting them up in the polls as they beat the likes of Cathedral in the middle of the season.
The Braves, who finished with just two wins on the season, struggled to maintain possession and string passes together, losing most of the aerial battles in 80 minutes of play.
Bellmont did not register a shot in the contest and did not have a corner kick.
Xavior Palacios had an outstanding game, turning away 16 of the 20 shots he faced.
