South Adams took care of business with a convincing road victory at Jay County, winning the Week 7 matchup 34-14 on a big night for Tytus Lehman to finally give the Starfires their first ACAC win of the season.

Lehman finished 7 of 11 passing with two touchdowns and he scored twice with his own feet, racking up 63 yards rushing himself in the victory.
The bulk of Lehman’s passing yards came on a long touchdown pass to Derek McKean, who went 79 yards early in the second quarter to give the Stars some breathing room.
The QB’s two rushing touchdowns came in the third quarter and pushed the score to 28-0.

Jay County scored consolation touchdowns on the first and last plays of the fourth quarter to narrow the margin.

Another game note of significance was a touchdown run by sophomore Wes Summersett, who is still on the path to full strength after a broken leg this summer.

South Adams will host Woodlan in Week 8.
