INDOT announces the implementation of a new school zone speed limit on State Road 116.
Starting on or after October 2, crews will install new school zone speed limit signs in front of Bluffton-Harrison Middle School. The speed limit in the school zone will be 35 mph when children are present.
Drivers should use extra caution in the area while crews install the new signs as well as while traffic adjusts to the new school zone.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
