B. Tracy Bye, 59, of rural Poneto, IN, passed away at 3:38 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on Wednesday, October 28, 1964, in Huntington, IN. She married Timothy K. Bye on Saturday, October 21, 2000 at the Chester Center Christian Church. Tracy was a 1983 graduate of Blackford High School. She was a member of A New Hope Church. She had worked at the Posey Room, Montpelier, IN. and drove truck with her husband for McCammon Trucking. Tracy enjoyed crafting, and spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids.
She will be sadly missed by her Mother – Shirley M. (Oswalt) Schlotter, Son – Dustin (Kimberly) Schlotter, Daughter – Erica (Cody) Garrison, Son – Wesley (Kimmy) Elkins, Son – Marschel Bye, Grandchildren – L’trel Schlotter, Savannah Schlotter, Victoria Garrison, Aaragorn Garrison, Alexander Garrison, Arya Garrison, Alleigh Elkins, Ardyn Elkins, Remington Elkins, & Lena Elkins, Sister – Rose L. James, Brother – Joe (Shannon) Schlotter, and Adopted Son – Michael Lake.
She was preceded in death by her Husband – Timothy K. Bye, Father – Larry C. Schlotter, and Brother – Randy G. Schlotter.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W. Windsor St. Montpelier, IN, on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to services on Friday, September 20, 2024.
A service to celebrate Tracy’s life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 20, 2024 with Pastor Clyde Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
