Two teams entered Week 4 at Bob Worthman Stadium with an 0-3 record and only one was going to come away with a victory.
Norwell left little doubt that they deserved that W as they lit up the Bellmont defense for a whopping 55 points, a week after allowing 55 themselves, and winning their first game of the year.
It wasn’t necessarily a mega game in the yardage department, but an efficient game for the Knights in the scoring department.

Despite having just 298 yards of offense in a running-clock game, the Knights put up 55 thanks to some quick drives and two defensive touchdowns.

After Norwell took a 35-0 lead late in the second quarter, Norwell made it a laugher with a pick-six from Brady Smith and a 31-yard fumble return by Trey Privett in a matter of 75 seconds, pushing the score to 49-0 for the halftime homecoming festivities.
Football players Ben Goble, Jaron Brickley and Wes Hamilton came out during halftime to serve on the homecoming court and Hamilton was crowned Homecoming King next to new queen Alyssa Coffey, who spent the rest of the night cheering her heart out as a member of the cheer team.

Bellmont found decent success on the ground compared to the first three weeks, but an injury to Trent Jackson, coupled with an early exit for Aidan Wemhoff made the Bellmont offense anemic for much of the rest of the first half.
The Braves went with Daniel Selking in the second half and he came out firing downfield, but was only able to complete one pass for short yardage.
Starter Easton Curtis finished 6 of 11 passing for Bellmont for 31 yards.

Jason Lykins led the Braves in rushing with 39 yards rushing.

Norwell QB Cayden Cassel threw for 140 yards on just 3 of 4 passing before being pulled in the second half.
Ten different Knight rushers totaled positive yardage, adding up to 172 on the ground in the big win.

Bellmont will travel to Huntington North Friday, while Norwell will host New Haven.
