Taufeeq Ally scored twice and the Bellmont Braves came away with a draw against fellow sectional rival Woodlan Wednesday night, 3-3.
Ally and junior Jack Johnson scored in the first half to keep the Braves level with the home Warriors through the first 40 minutes.
Bellmont outshot Woodlan 8-2 in the second half and Ally’s second goal kept things level, leaving some intrigue if these two squads draw each other in the sectional draw in October.
Ally provided the assist on Johnson’s goal, while Colsen White and Daniel Vogel added the assists to Ally in his scores.
Xavior Palacios made three saves for the Braves in 80 minutes.
Colin Ripley’s goal earned the Braves a 1-1 draw in the JV game.
