The Starfires continued their winning ways Tuesday night with a 5-0 sweep of Blackford, winning the match early in the afternoon and finishing the shutout with a pair of victories in super tiebreakers.
Ian Neuenschwander didn’t drop a game at No. 3 singles and the same was true for the Starfires’ top doubles team, as Gabe Neuenschwander and Kane Sturwold won 6-0, 6-0.

Blackford fought back after dropping the opening set in each of the five varsity matches with second-set wins at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles.
With the win already in hand, Cole Hyman dominated the tiebreaker to win at the top singles spot, while Isaiah Conrad and Ben Dubach went all the way to 11-9 to finish off the sweep.

Hyman and No. 2 Kade Sprunger remain unbeaten on the year.
