Adams Central squeaked by with a 3-2 win over Bellmont Tuesday on their home courts, but it felt like a missed opportunity for BHS coach Kyle Arnold, who had to settle for a close loss without his best player.
“We inserted Kasey (Teeter) at No. 1 with Hayden (Huss) home sick today,” noted Arnold. “I felt with our full lineup that this was a team we could beat, but the boys played hard tonight.”

Teeter, who is new to the sport, fell to AC’s No. 1, Logan Heiman, but the Braves won the other two singles matches.
The match at No. 3 singles went all the way to the super tiebreaker, with Larry Knous winning the race to 10 points.
Adams Central did not drop a set in the doubles matches.
