Sydney Angel had another impressive day at the Celina Rotary Invitational for the Bellmont Braves Saturday, finishing 11th and cutting nearly two minutes from her time last week at Norwell.
While the Braves only managed an eighth-place team finish out of ten schools present, there were certainly some big cuts in times for the team.
Angel came close to the 22-minute mark to lead the team, who had to go without senior Bre Feasel, hamstringing the Braves’ chances to score higher as a team.

The rest of the Braves averaged nearly 60 to 90 seconds better than their times at Norwell, giving coach Risch hope for the rest of the season.
The Braves will hope to avoid another heat cancellation when they host their own XC Invite Wednesday at the BHS XC Course.
