Chalk up another win for the South Adams Starfires as they won an interstate match against Celina by a solid nine strokes.
The team shot 208 and Julia Arnold once again led the way with a round of 47.
“We drove the ball well today,” noted head coach Chris Toledo afterwards. “We smashed it right down the middle.”

Nora Ringger also played well for the Starfires, shooting a personal best of 51.

“We chipped well today and that kept our scores low,” noted the coach.
Toledo also noted that, to his knowledge, it was the first time the program has beaten Celina in a match.
