In an important matchup of future sectional combatants, the Heritage Patriots made a statement that they are an improved squad from 2023 and a contender for a sectional title now that the Bellmont Braves are in 4A in the local scene.
The home team dominated throughout the night, winning 25-12, 25-15, 25-14 against what many considered to be one of the two best teams in the October sectional.
Alexa Walter led the Patriots with nine kills across three sets. She also added three service aces
Newcomer Alana Gutshall finished the night with seven kills on 18 attempts.
The Patriots are set to play at the West Noble Invite on Saturday.
