
The trouble continues in Adams County, and more specifically in Union Township, for Nathan Mihm, the Union Township Trustee.
Jeremy Brown, the Adams County Prosecutor, filed charges against Mihm for the financial issues that have caused such a stir in the county over the last six months.
Mihm was formally charged with two felony counts of theft, a felony count of perjury and four counts of conflict of interest for his role and actions in township government over the last decade.
According to the Prosecutor’s office, a level 6 felony carries a maximum sentence of 2.5 years in prison and a fine of as much as $10,000.
A level 5 felony can bring as much as six years in jail and a similar fine.
Six of the seven charges against Mihm are listed as level 6 felonies, while one of the theft charges is a level 5.
