The South Adams Starfires moved to 2-0 in the ACAC with a nine-stroke victory over Heritage at Wabash Valley Wednesday.
The Stars shot a solid 213 to beat Heritage by nine strokes. Julia Arnold earned medalist honors with a 46, outpacing the rest of the field.

“This course is just in perfect condition,” said coach Chris Toledo, “and we are 2-0 in the ACAC, so it’s a good day. It’s great to see other conference teams bringing JV teams.”
Alexis Bremer was the top scorer for the visiting Patriots, shooting 50, six shots better than her round there just two weeks ago.

SA head coach Chris Toledo got excellent play from his No. 4 and 5, with Kendall Minger and Sophia Orr each recording their best rounds on the front nine at Wabash Valley with a 56 and a 58, respectively.

“The varsity still has room for improvement,” said Toledo, “but the good news is we are all striking the ball more solidly.”
