After playing against a tough Bellmont team in the scrimmage on Saturday, the South Adams Starfires played their regular season opener in Fort Wayne at the Fort Wayne Sport Club and fell to Bishop Luers, 5-0.
Goal scorers for Bishop Luers were Ashlin Del Cid, Lila Trout, Kennidy Chapin and Jamie Landa. The Starfires added an own goal.
