A career-best round by Megan Yoder and the usual solid play by Julia Arnold helped the South Adams Starfires to a sixth-place finish at the Wabash Invite played at Honeywell Saturday.
The Stars shot 469 in some unpleasant weather conditions.
“The course was in very good shape,” noted coach Chris Toledo, “but we had every type of weather. It was rainy, windy, cool, then muggy.”

The conditions didn’t help the Starfires’ efforts.

“It was really nice when we left,” chuckled the coach.
Megan Yoder shot 107 for the best round of her career to finish as the top scorer for the Starfires, just outside the top ten individually.
