A round of 44 by Brenna Spuller put Wednesday’s golf match between Fort Wayne Snider and Bellmont out of reach for the Braves at Whispering Creek.
The Panthers shot 220 at home and the Braves were unable to replicate their scoring from their home match earlier in the week, finishing with a 234.
“We took a step back on scoring,” admitted head coach Mike Macke, “but it’s the first time that the girls have seen that course, and we played the more difficult side. Every time we play, we gain experience.”

Leading the way for the Braves was No. 1 Ella Hockemeyer with a 50. Morgan Huss turned in a solid 57 as the No. 2.
