INDOT announces the closure of U.S. 224 for two culvert replacements.
Starting on or after August 19, work will take place between the west and east junctions of State Road 101. Work will be ongoing in this location through mid-September. Once the first closure is complete, State Road 224 will then be closed between C.R. 300 E and the west junction of State Road 101 through mid-October.
During these closures, drivers should use the approved detour of U.S. 27, U.S. 33 and State Road 101, or seek an alternate route. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
