The Wells County Historical Museum is preparing for a special event this weekend with the opening of an art gallery dedicated to Wells County native Harry Lindstrand. An opening event for the gallery will take place Saturday, August 18th, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Lindstrand’s water color works of local landmarks and other landscapes from across the country are well known and this celebrated, prolific artist will enjoy a much-deserved spot in the museum.

The Wells County Historical Museum is located at 420 W Market Street in Bluffton.
Refreshments will be served and the event is free and open to the public.

Those interested in the life and works of Lindstrand will have the chance to meet with several family members of the artist to learn more and share stories about each piece of artwork on display.
