Decatur Police confirmed that an attack on a man Saturday in Decatur is being investigated.
The incident, according to police, happened at a “downtown establishment” and was later reported to law enforcement.
The investigation is an open case, said the DPD, and no more information was said to be available until more evidence is reviewed and more about the incident becomes known.
According to several witnesses, Albert Nern, 38, was badly beaten and left unresponsive before being found after the attack.
