Cody James Huntley, 25, of Decatur, IN passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Cody was born on March 10, 1999, in Decatur, IN, to James L.V. and Peggy Lynn (Gerke) Comment-Huntley.
Cody had a beautiful Smile and was easy to talk to. He always was engaged in the conversation no matter who he was speaking with. Cody was loveable, funny, and onery. Cody loved life and all the adventure that came with it. He had high hopes for a bright future.
Cody attended Adams Central High School and worked as a Laborer for Fleming Excavating.
He is survived by his parents James Huntley and Peggy Comment-Huntley of Decatur, soulmate Analiesa Bishop of Fort Wayne, IN; his beloved dog Bentley; Sisters Jamie (Brad) Alberson of Warsaw, IN, Samantha Comment, Brook Huntley, Chloe Huntley, Faith Huntley all of Decatur, IN; brother Josh (Angie) Comment of Decatur, IN; nieces, Kehlani Huntley, Octavia Comment, Savannah Comment, Nevaeh Comment, Zoey Comment, Sadie (Shea) Pyle; nephews, Jaylon Broadnax, Gavin Comment, Xander Comment, Will Brown, Cevan Miller, Aiden Alberson, Owen Alberson.
Cody was preceded in death by his brother Nicholas Comment; maternal grandparents, Kathy Hackman and Gail Gerke.
Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10th at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral with 1 hour visitation prior to the service.
Memorials are to be made to the family.
