The Adams County Commissioners have approved additional funding for the county’s Council on Aging and their transportation network for those in need. The Commissioners approved a $2,000 increase for fiscal year 2025, but Executive Director Michelle Lengerich says there are now many more available dollars coming in from state and federal agencies that will allow Adams County to maintain and expand such services.
Lengerich spoke with WZBD’s Ed Thurman about the funding issues, which have improved greatly since the transportation system was established…
Lengerich says the future is bright for the county-wide transportation network and that things are likely to get even better in the future.
