One of the most popular bands to take to the Madison St. Plaza stage every year is returning for a 2024 appearance on Thursday.
The Hubie Ashcraft Band will kick off a three-hour performance at 6 p.m., the second show on the Decatur Chamber of Commerce’s annual Summer Concert Series.
Ashcraft, a Homestead High School graduate who studied music at IPFW (now PFW), always presents a lively, energetic show which draws a large crowd.
The event will actually kick off at 5:45 with a performance by Alexis Lamons, 19, a Bellmont High School graduate.
The Chamber first began adding young performers to the summer concerts last year and is continuing to do so this year.
