SAFE officials said approximately 150-175 children and adults were on hand for the two-hour event at Riverside Center.

No admission was charged and the carnival included snacks and lots of games, such as ring and bag toss, bowling, golf, crafts, Plinko, cookie walk. A raffle, at 50 cents per ticket, was also held.
One of the highlights of the day was the appearance of police K-9 Koda, who was a big hit with the kids. He was accompanied by Decatur officers Luke Roby and Dan McGill.
