Lance Fiechter, a Republican, has announced his candidacy for Adams County Council, At Large. Lance is a local Grain Farmer who farms in Adams, Wells, Jay, and Blackford Counties. In his past years of Agriculture he has worked with his family for the last 17 years as a Partner of Fiechter Heritage Farm’s LLC.
Lance has been married to his wife, Sara, for 14 years. They have 4 children: Maeley (12), Tessa (11), Coy (8), and Ada (7). Lance and his family attend the Bluffton North Apostolic Christian Church where he currently teaches Sunday School and is part of the Sound Tech Team. He also served, as President, on the School Board at Kingdom Academy for 5 years.
Three attributes that Lance appreciates are Faith, Family and Community. He intends to lead with those at the forefront of his mind. He also would like to see property taxes affordable and competitive to surrounding counties and also make sure that regulations are sensible enough to persuade families to make Adams County their home.
“My grandfather was raised in Adams County, My dad was raised in Adams County, and I am thankful to have the opportunity to raise my family in Adams County. It would be a privilege to serve on the Adams County Council- At Large. Your vote would be appreciated” stated Fiechter.
