After losing earlier in the season by a score of 58-37, coach Kyle Roe’s Jets did not seem to have much hope when the ACAC tournament draw was announced live on 92.7 FM a few weeks ago.
It turns out, it was exactly the draw they needed.
Having lost four of their last five games to the Starfires, the Jets scored a meaningful victory in front of their home crowd to advance to Friday’s semifinal against Jay County.

Coming to WZBD via his previous position as sports editor at the Decatur Daily Democrat, Dane is highly involved in high school wrestling with the IHSWCA and is a past winner of the organization's Distinguished Media Award.
