The Adams County Commissioners have given preliminary approval to plans to upgrade security measures at the County Prosecutor’s office and the county courts.
Prosecutor Jeremy Brown told WZBD’s Ed Thurman that he’s asking for money from the American Relief Plan to finish paying for the project that he says is greatly needed…
Brown says the work could begin quickly one the paperwork for funding is completed.
The Commissioners also decided on a split vote to cancel one of their weekly meetings starting in 2024. Starting in January, the Commissioners will not meet on the second Tuesday of the month when the Adams County Council meets. Two of the three Commissioners voted to drop their meeting on that date so as not to have to modify their schedule on those dates for the Council’s meeting.
