Adams Medical Group has announced that it will be offering free men’s health screenings on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the Strickler Cancer Institute (photo) on the Adams Memorial Campus,
The screenings will be given from 4 to 7 p.m.
No appointments are necessary.
Dr. Benjamin Hart, general surgeon; Dr. Robert Kinne, interventional spine, pain, and sports medicine; and Dr. Modnath Sangroula, family medicine, will be on site.
They will offer, free of charge, screens for hernias, skin cancer, carpal tunnel, sleep apnea, and cologuard kits.
Also offered will be the following: Hemoglobin A1C ($25 charge); TSH ($20); and PSA ($25) screenings/blood draws; heart scans ($50, scheduled during the event); and flu shots ($25).
Officials said fasting is not required for the hemoglobin A1C, TSH or PSA tests.
