Cindy Kay Compton, 63, of Warren, IN. passed away Sunday evening, Nov. 5, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, following an extended illness.
Cindy was born in Wells County on May 20, 1960, to Orva W. and Henrietta (Harris) Earhart, both parents preceded her in death. Cindy married Joe A. Compton on March 7,1993 in Warren, IN, he survives in Warren. She was a graduate of Southern Wells High School class of 1978. Cindy worked at Bluffton Rubber Company for 16 years, retiring in 2021. She was devoted to her family and friends and her many pets. Cindy enjoyed 1980’s music and attending the Bluffton Street Fair.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister; Nancy Lee Whited of Berne, IN.
In accordance with Cindy’s wishes, private family services were held. Burial will take place at the McFarren Cemetery, Poneto, IN.
