The Norwell Knights won their 11th match of the season in their sectional opener Tuesday, defeating Woodlan 7-1.
Grace Mann was outstanding for the home team, scoring four goals and adding an assist. The sophomore now has 45 goals in her career.
Aubrey Meyer, Oliva Daniel, and Karrigan Melcher added the other goals for Norwell.
Makenzie Fuess led the team with 3 assists, Morgan Batdorff had 2 assists and Karrigan Melcher also
added an assist for Norwell.
Gracie Rinkenberger and Abby Wagner both played well for Norwell in the goal.
