Riding a ten-match winning streak, the South Adams Starfires beat Jay County in straight sets Tuesday to move to 20-2 on the year and 4-0 in the ACAC as the team prepares for this Saturday’s ACAC tournament.
The 25-20, 25-15, 25-13 victory came out of a big night for Macy Pries, who led the team with 13 kills and 16 digs.

The Starfires also continued their strong service game, scoring eight aces against the Patriots, who are now 6-8.

Gracy Bixler registered seven kills from the front row and Laney Trausch had 14 assists and eight digs.
Reagan Beitler had nine digs and nine assists to go along with an ace and three kills.
South Adams will be featured in WZBD’s coverage of Saturday’s tournament, with round robin matches against Woodlan and Heritage being broadcast on 92.7 FM.
