23 points were all the Bellmont Braves yielded Monday night across three sets, showing why they are the powerhouse of Northeast Indiana and also why they are ranked #1 in the state of Indiana in 3A.
The Braves thoroughly dominated the Adams Central Jets throughout the night, allowing their neighbors from the south just 23 points in total.


Delaney Lawson led the Braves in kills with 12 on 22 attempts. She also had a solo block as the team recorded five total at the net.

Hailey Cole, who had two of those solo blocks, finished with 32 assists as setter and also served two aces.
MK Scheumann had ten kills and senior Jackie Sutter added seven.


Libero Sami Christen led the team in digs with 15.

Bellmont will open conference play Thursday at New Haven (7-6) before facing one of the most important Saturdays in the regular season. The Braves will play #4 NorthWood and #8 Angola at Angola, with both matches being broadcast live on 92.7 FM WZBD. Former Bellmont volleyball coaches Mike Macke and Kent Arnold will be on the call.
