We may be well into September, but Thursday night entertainment on the Madison St. Plaza in Decatur is continuing.
This week, it will be a special event, the third annual An Evening with Adams Health Network (AHN) Senior Living, sponsored by Adams Woodcrest and Adams Heritage.
The event, open to the public, will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 on the plaza, featuring one of the most popular bands around, The Bulldogs.
No admission will be charged and AHN officials are encouraging people to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy the night out.
A cash bar with wine slushies, beer and other choices will be available.
Food trucks will be on hand, and Andy’s Coney Bar will be open. Also available will be 3-Stage BBQ, Famous Monster Pizza, and Manson’s hamburgers and sausage.
Door prizes will be awarded, according to AHN officials.
NOTE: Decatur native Maggie Girard Hawkins is no longer with The Bulldogs, having retired due to some health issues.
