South Adams Senior volleyball Macy Pries accomplished a rare feat Thursday night by recording her 1,000th dig for the Starfires as they swept Bluffton 25-18, 25-9 & 25-23.
Macy Pries was honored by her teammates & fans after the match with a banner, prepared just for the event.
The home team, forced to play in the middle school gym due to work in the Stardome, took the first two sets easily after Pries made her 1000 mark. Bluffton showed some life in the third period, but the Stars, who are one of the Top Ten teams in 2A, finished the match off with a 25-23 win.
