The Norwell tennis team took care of business Thursday with a win on their home courts over Bellmont, 5-0.
Playing on the same courts where the sectional title will be determined in just three short weeks, the Knights did not drop a set in their sweep of the Braves and moved to 7-2 on the year and 2-1 in the NE8 with the victory.
Coach Noah Tobias got love-love wins at his top two singles spots from seniors Grant Mishler and Bodie Zimmer and his senior doubles team of Jaden Payne and Jake Hoover was nearly as dominant, winning 6-1, 6-0.

The most competitive match of the night was at No. 3 singles, where Bellmont’s Layne Lemaster went toe to toe with Gavin Reynolds, but Reynolds found just enough breaks of serve to take the victory 6-3, 6-3.

Bellmont will play another NE8 match at home against DeKalb Tuesday.
