Senior Nin Way could not be stopped Tuesday night as the Heritage Patriots won at home over Lakewood Park Christian, scoring four times in a 7-1 victory for the home team.
Way also added an assist on a goal by Libby Cain, who scored twice for the Patriots, who are now 3-1 on the young season.
Junior Ava Smith had three assists for Heritage and Leyna Nagel also set up one of the goals.
Corinne Bowers made 13 saves in the game for Heritage.
Heritage will play two important conference games next week, with Tuesday’s game at Woodlan and Thursday’s contest at home against South Adams.
