Adams County officials have entered into an agreement with officials in Decatur to locate a new public transportation facility that will be paid for primarily through a federal grant.
The County Commissioners signed the inter-local agreement that will provide funding and a location for the facility. The transportation center will be located at the Adams County Merit Center on Dayton Street in Decatur.

The Adams County Council on Aging is in the process of applying for the federal grant to pay for the facility and the vehicles to provide the transportation. It will provide public transportation to all corners of Adams County.
