The Indiana Sheriff’s Association is proud to announce the 2023 Legislator of the Year for ISA as Representative Matt Lehman. Presenting the award to Rep. Lehman was Adams County Sheriff Dan Mawhorr and Executive Director Steve Luce.
“Representative Lehman stood with law enforcement throughout the 2023 legislative session and has always been by our side as legislation is presented at the legislature,” commented Luce.
“Matt Lehman represents Adams County and the State of Indiana with honor. We are pleased to present him with this award, and look forward to working with him in the future,” stated Sheriff Mawhorr.
The ISA Legislator of the Year award is an annual award presented to an Indiana Legislator who displays strong character and a high level of integrity, supporting efforts by law enforcement to make Indiana a safer and better place to live and work.
