Saturday, July 1, is the final day to sign up for the fourth annual TJC Wiffleball Tournament.
The event will be held Saturday, July 15, starting at 10 a.m. at the REV Sports Complex in Decatur.
The tournament is held in honor of Trevor Ortiz, Jordan Fuelling and Connor Brite, the three Decatur young men who tragically lost their lives in a traffic accident involving an impaired driver in June of 2020.
All proceeds will go to the Adams County Community Foundation (ACCF) scholarship fund in their names, as well as ongoing renovations at the complex.
The event raised $8,000 last year and organizers have set a goal of $10,000 for this year.
Food and music will also be part of the day.
To enter a team, contact Jon Ruble at jonruble87@gmail.com or call 223-6110. Entry fee is $20 per team, which includes a shirt, and all players must be middle-school age or older.
July 10 is the absolute final day to register a team, but no shirts will be available for those entries.
