Spring property taxes were due in Indiana by May 10. Adams County property owners paid their property taxes on time this year in near record numbers. WZBD’s Ed Thurman spoke with Ed Dyer, Adams County Treasurer, about how that affects county government and found that it affects it in a very positive manner…
Dyer says Adams County residents are among the best in the state at paying their property taxes…and paying them on time! He says local taxpayers should be proud of that record.
Meanwhile, with the July 4th holiday falling on a Tuesday this year, the Adams County Commissioners have decided to cancel their meeting that week rather than moving their weekly meeting back a day. There will be a meeting of the Commissioners next week on June 27, but they won’t meet again until July 11.
