
Come celebrate Adams Memorial Hospital’s 100th Anniversary on Monday night July 3rd at Madison Street Plaza with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic featuring their Patriotic Pops concert series. Festivities will begin at 6pm with a brief overview of the hospital’s historic timeline as well as honoring a few special employees. The Philharmonic will begin their Patriotic Pops concert at 7:30pm as they are bringing a full Pops orchestra to Adams County, which will be approximately 65 musicians. The concert will consist of beloved favorites like Star Spangled Banner, God Bless America, and 1812 Overture, as well as beloved Pops songs including music of Star Wars, and The Magnificent Seven.
In honor of Adams Memorial Hospital’s centennial, admission will be FREE to the community and no tickets are required.
“Those 2 Pour Guys” will also be at Madison Street with their wine slushies and a cash bar. Adams Memorial Hospital is also partnering with Andy’s Coney Bar to provide free hot dogs and root beer floats in mood changing commemorative mugs. The 3-Stage BBQ food truck will also be on-site to provide several of their delicious favorites.
Come celebrate with Adams Memorial Hospital and enjoy the Fort Wayne Philharmonic in a concert celebration of the American spirit. Bring your own lawn chairs to enjoy the FREE outdoor concert for the whole family. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved indoors to the Bellmont High School Auditorium.
