Shown: (l-r) Adams County Community Foundation (ACCF) / Ebony Fawcett Scholarship recipient, Christopher Davis, is shown with Ebony’s mother, Beth Ann Fawcett. Christopher will attend Ball State University to major in Architecture. This recognition was awarded at the Bellmont Scholarship Awards event, April 12, 2023.
Last week’s Bellmont scholarship night included the awarding of a special scholarship in memory of a young child who passed away from the Decatur community too soon.
Ebony’s mom, Beth Ann Fawcett established this memorial scholarship to be presented to a scholar during the year that would have been Ebony’s senior year. As reported by Beth Ann, Ebony, age 9, completed her work on earth and is now perfect in Heaven watching over her family and friends. Ebony had a gorgeous smile, contagious giggle and a caring and loving heart of gold.
Together Ebony and her mother created Energized by Ebony, a nonprofit that focuses on help for kiddos battling cancer. This organization promotes: Keep Smiling & Keep Making Memoires!
