Jeans Day is more than just a fun day each week for employees of Adams Memorial Hospital.
Each Friday, employees are allowed to wear jeans or fun scrubs to work – for a donation which goes to good causes.
Once a month, a portion of the money is set aside for an Adams Helping Adams fund to assist employees in need. The other portion is given directly to the Adams County community, according to Kim Trombley, Adams Health Network Foundation Executive Director.
The latest such donation saw a check for $1,825.80 turned over to the Adams County Cancer Coalition.
