The City of Decatur has partnered with SeeClickFix to announce a new platform that will prove to be extremely useful to local and area residents.
With SeeClickFix’s free, easy-to-use app and web tools, residents will now be able to provide city staff with pictures, videos, specific descriptions, and more – valuable information needed to get the job done efficiently, said Community Coordinator Jamie Gephart in making the announcement.
In addition, the SeeClickFix platform also offers a centralized and integrated management system which will allow city officials to engage further with residents, track issues, and monitor success.
The partnership not only allows residents to report community issues, but also to view, and comment on them, Gephart said.
Residents can even create their own “watch areas” to receive notifications about all issues reported in their community, enabling them to follow the progress of all service requests, not just the ones they report.
The SeeClickFix mobile app is available for download on Android and iPhone.
In addition to the mobile apps, residents can send report to the city’s website, www.decaturin.org/311-reporter
