The #3 Purdue Boilermakers dominated Morehead State at Mackey Arena Friday night, moving to 2-0 on the year with an 87-57 victory with an 18-point game by Zach Edey.
Edey played just 24 minutes but was 5 of 8 from the field and hit eight of nine free throws to lead all scorers.
The Boilers also got 15 points from Lance Jones on 3 of 6 shooting from the three-point line.
Purdue was led in rebounding by Edey and Braden Smith with eight apiece.
Purdue fans can hear the Boilers’ first big preseason game when they play Xavier at 8:30 p.m. Monday. The Musketeers are 2-0.
