Camilla L. (Candy) Irelan, 73, of Bluffton, IN, formerly of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 1:24 AM on Friday, October 13, 2023, at her residence in Bluffton. She was born on Sunday, May 7, 1950, in Hartford City, IN. She married David Irelan on Friday, December 29, 1967, at the Methodist Church in Montpelier, IN. Candy was a graduate of Montpelier High School. She was a military wife and had lived in Alaska and Germany. Her husband David passed away November 14, 1989, and she then became a US Army Gold Star widow. Candy was a dietician, she had worked at Sheller Globe in Montpelier, and retired from Pretzels in Bluffton. She liked boating and riding roller coasters. Above all, Candy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She will be missed by her Son – David Bryan (Tammy) Irelan, Portland, IN, Son – Phillip Anthony Irelan, Bluffton, IN, Son – Jonathan Bradley (Tammie) Irelan, Fort Wayne, IN, Daughter – Vickie Lynn (Thomas Conley) Buzzard, Warsaw, IN, Son – Scott Nathaniel (Angela) Irelan, Keystone, IN, 13 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, Sister – Betty Jeanann Shady, Montpelier, IN, Brother – Michael Harrold, Augusta, GA, and several Nieces & Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents- Cleo S. Harrold and Betty J. Harrold, Husband – David Nathaniel Irelan, Brother – Danny Harrold, Sister – Connie Wyatt, Brother – David Harrold, Sister – Sandra Harrold, Brother – Donnie Harrold, and Brother – Steven Harrold
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St. Montpelier, on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
A service to celebrate her life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023, with Pastor Steve Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
